![]() There’s certainly lot’s going on now and in the future from Juke Joint Productions - that’s Paul Renton and Co. They are putting on a great show at the Step Inn on Saturday August 16th. As you can see from the poster to the left there's a great line up for the evening’s entertainment. The headline act for the evening will be Mick Hadley and the Atomic Boogie Band, and they will be preceded by King Biscuit (Mark and Ben from Natural Ball, Paul Renton’s own Light Street Motors featuring himself, the Colonel, Tom and Billy, and of course the fantastic talents of Mojo Webb and J.B. Lewis, who on this occasion are billed to perform separate sets. BASEQ wishes Paul and everyone all the very best for this great evening of blues music. We heard just what Paul could pull together at the Muddy Waters tribute earlier this year when some 400 fans packed the Step Inn and the bands took the place by storm. You can expect similar, nay better, at the Chicago Blues Tribute. It’s really good that a few stalwart people are prepared to take the risk to promote the blues in and around our area. We should all support them and make the best of the fine offerings of music they are putting on. BASEQ will have a stand there. |
